Shipping and Freight
Shipping and freight
Freight is included in the listed price on every pallet. The price on the listing is the price you pay, with no delivery charge added at checkout.
Where we deliver
We dispatch from Quakers Hill in Western Sydney and deliver to every state and territory: Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide, Hobart, Darwin, Canberra, the Gold Coast, Newcastle, Wollongong and most regional centres. NSW deliveries are usually quickest from our base, and interstate or regional runs take longer.
How a pallet is delivered
| Delivery type | What happens | What you need |
|---|---|---|
| Tail-lift, standard | The pallet arrives on a truck fitted with a hydraulic tail-lift and is lowered to ground level at your address. | Truck access to the street, and a flat space to take the pallet. No forklift required. |
| Business or dock | Delivery to a warehouse, dock or business address where you unload. | A forklift or loading dock. Tell us at order time so the right vehicle is booked. |
| Depot collection | You collect from the carrier depot or arrange pickup from our base. | A suitable vehicle and means to load. Arrange with us before ordering. |
| Truckload | Full or part truckloads delivered nationally. | Kerbside or dock unloading, agreed in advance. |
Access matters more than distance
Most failed deliveries are access problems, not distance problems. A pallet truck is a large rigid vehicle, and it cannot always reach a narrow street, a steep driveway, a gated complex or a car park with a height bar.
Tell us about any access limit when you order. Rebooking a failed delivery costs time and money, and it is entirely avoidable with one sentence at order time.
Timing and tracking
Once your lot is booked with the carrier we send the consignment details so you can track it. We give a realistic delivery window at dispatch rather than an optimistic one. Freight networks slow down around public holidays and the end of the year, and we will say so if it affects your booking.
Receiving your pallet
- Someone needs to be present to receive and sign for the delivery.
- Check the wrap and the pallet for visible transit damage before you sign.
- Note any damage on the delivery paperwork. Without that note, a freight damage claim is very difficult to pursue.
- Photograph the pallet as it arrives, before you break the wrap.
If something has gone wrong in transit, contact us within 24 hours of delivery and we will lodge the claim with the carrier. See returns and refunds for how claims are handled.
Buyers outside Australia
We also work with buyers overseas on export lots. Contact us with the categories and volumes you are after and we will tell you what is possible.
